The Best Part...

I'm getting close to the end of my current ms. Yesterday I hit 65,000 words, which means I have 5,000 to 10,000 to go. If the story goes as planned, I've got two chapters to write, plus a short epilogue. I love this part of doing a book. The story has energy and it's all focused in one direction.

The beginning is much harder for me. When I'm done with the current ms, I'll start on the third book in the "Swan's Nest" series. So far I know that it's about Mary from "The Maverick Preacher" and a man from her past. He's going to have very rough edges, but he's also going to have a dog named . . . . well, we'll see how it develops!
