I can't walk through a mall without stopping in every bookstore to see if they stock Love Inspired Historicals. If I have a book out--which I do now--the addiction is double strength. Bless my husband! He knows he's going to have to stop in Borders or B&N wherever when we're out together.Today we were at Tyson's Corner shopping for Mother's Day for our moms. There's a huge B&N that's not particularly inspirational friendly. The Christian section is tiny compared to everything else, and it's in the back of the store. It's also near the restrooms, which I suppose is a good thing for traffic. I did my usual checking and found two copies of The Maverick Preacher. I was stoked. There was a lot of room on the shelf, so I turned them face-out, then headed for the ladies room.
Would you believe it? When I came out, there was only one copy left, not the original two. I was sure my husband has had something to do with this. Either he'd moved it or he planned to buy it just to make me happy. He said no, he didn't touch them. I believe him.
It's not often that I see books move off the shelves, but that happened today. It was pretty cool!
