Pearl's Story

The next book in the "Women of Swan's Nest" series is going to be about Pearl. I've sent her off to Cheyenne where she's met a lawman with a secret and a very sweet five-year-old daughter.

This book was 3/4 written when my editor asked me to set it aside and do Kansas Courtship (March 2010) for the "After the Storm" continuity. I thought I'd be able to jump right back in and I did. Unfortunately I discovered I taken a very strange turn with the story. It just didn't work . . . well, after three days of pounding the keys, napping, walking and wondering, I found a new ending. I love it! The story is at 58,000 words right now. That means I've got 15,000 to go, which means 4-5 chapters. The end is in sight!
